Dilip Guha, New Delhi : India’s premier showcase for Business, Leisure Travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions)- BLTM 2026, inaugurated on 2nd Sept 2026 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi.
Delhi Tourism is highlighting the capital’s immense potential as a premier destination for MICE, heritage, gastronomy, spirituality, and experiential tourism at BLTM 2026. This grand three‑day showcase will be held from September 2 to 4, 2026, bringing together industry leaders, stakeholders, and global participants to explore Delhi’s diverse offerings.
From MICE and destination to heritage circuits and immersive experiences, Delhi positions itself as a premier year‑round hub for business and leisure travel.
BLTM 2026 brought together 500+ exhibitors from five countries and 18 States & Union Territories, 300+ hosted buyers and over 12,000 pre-scheduled business meetings, providing a significant platform for B2B engagement and destination promotion.
The three-day event is expected to strengthen business partnerships, create new opportunities for the tourism and hospitality sector, encourage longer visitor stays and further enhance Delhi’s position on the national and international MICE tourism map.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Managing Director, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), as Chief Guest, along with Mr Dheera Hettiarachchi, Chairman, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, as Guest of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, said, “Delhi has the unique advantage of combining world-class connectivity and infrastructure with its extraordinary heritage, spiritual culture and gastronomy experiences. Through our participation at BLTM, we are bringing together the tourism and hospitality ecosystem to position Delhi as a preferred destination for MICE, business events, destination weddings and leisure travel.”
The participation reflects the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Smt. Rekha Gupta jee, and Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Shri Kapil Mishra jee, to position Delhi not merely as a transit city but as a global tourism destination, encouraging visitors to stay longer, explore the city’s diverse experiences and extend their night stays. The focus is on presenting Delhi as a destination where business, leisure, heritage, spirituality, gastronomy, culture and contemporary experiences come together.
A key focus at the pavilion is the unveiling of four curated Spiritual & Heritage Tourism Circuits covering 21 prominent destinations across the city. These circuits weave together Delhi’s iconic places of worship, historic monuments, cultural landmarks, and living heritage, offering visitors thoughtfully designed experiences that go beyond conventional sightseeing. The initiative aims to encourage tourists to discover multiple facets of Delhi and extend their stay in the capital.

The Delhi Tourism pavilion further presents the many dimensions of the city—from its timeless monuments and spiritual landmarks to its rich culinary traditions, immersive cultural experiences, and innovative tourism products. Together, these elements position Delhi as a vibrant, diverse, and year‑round destination for travellers seeking both depth and variety.
As the Host State, Delhi Tourism has brought together 34 private stakeholders, including leading DMCs, hospitality and tourism industry players such as The Park, IHCL, Radisson Blu and Crowne Plaza, along with other allied industry partners under the Delhi Tourism umbrella. The participation provides a common platform for industry stakeholders to connect with hosted buyers, travel trade and corporate decision-makers from India and overseas.
A major attraction at the Delhi Tourism pavilion is a replica of the iconic Double-Decker Bus, showcasing Delhi’s new-age sightseeing and experiential tourism offerings. An Akshardham-themed selfie point and an immersive AR/VR experience have also been created, offering visitors an engaging and interactive glimpse of the capital’s heritage, spirituality, innovation and contemporary tourism experiences.
BLTM 2026 continues on September 3 and 4 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka.
