The temple, also known as Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir, has been a center of convergence for Bengalis in Delhi, particularly during festivals like Durga Puja and Saraswati Puja.
The temple’s Saraswati Puja celebrations were marked by traditional rituals and ceremonies, including the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and learning. Devotees gathered at the temple to offer prayers and seek the blessings of the goddess.
