



Sasraya News ★ New Delhi : Delhi Tourism regularly organizes various fairs and festivals to promote tourism in the city. Recently, a three-day Diwali Mela was held on behalf of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, in New Delhi. The fair concluded on October 24 and was a vibrant celebration filled with festive lights, cultural performances, delicious food, and plenty of shopping opportunities. The atmosphere in Delhi is buzzing with preparations for the Diwali festival, featuring a plethora of colourful lights, a variety of attractive diyas, and numerous decorative items.
At the Diwali Mela, attendees truly embraced the festive spirit with vibrant stalls, live shows, and much more.
This Diwali Mela was filled with a wide variety of Diwali-related items, including colourful lights, decorative fringes, attractive diyas, and numerous other decorative pieces.
As preparations for the Diwali festival are in full swing across Delhi, this Mela features numerous stalls offering handicraft products and all kinds of Diwali merchandise.
The main attractions included various stalls selling handicrafts and delicious food. A selfie point also drew in many young visitors. Guests enjoyed a wide range of dishes along with a colourful cultural program. The diverse handicraft stalls were a highlight of the fair, providing a fantastic opportunity for visitors to sample different cuisines from various corners of India and experience lively performances.
On the opening day, the Khaab Band captivated the audience. The second day featured performances by Sahil Chauhan, while the final day concluded with a performance from a Bollywood rock band. –Dilip Guha
